The Algoma's boys basketball team will be able to get back to work after its loss on Saturday with a game against Valders on Monday.
The Wolves were outscored 33-15 in the first-half of its 68-49 loss to state-ranked Reedsville on Saturday. The Panthers had three players reach double-figures, including 21 points from Ben Prochnow. The loss snapped a seven-game winning streak for the Wolves.
The hosting Vikings are 3-7 on the season, winning two of their last five games. Mason Staudinger stirs the offensive drink for the Vikings, averaging 22.9 ppg, 7.7 rpg, and 3.6 apg to lead the team in all three categories.
Tip off in Valders is set for 7 p.m.
