Algoma started out strong and controlled the pace throughout taking the win 63-20 as they defended their home court Friday night.
Freshman Reagan Schnider for the Wolves led all scorers with 15 including a trio of 3-pointers. Azucena Jauregui grabbed 10 as the only one in double-figures for the Vikings.
Gibraltar has sprinkled wins throughout their season and heading into Algoma has played just three games since their last win against Southern Door December 16. They'll get a break from local play hosting Stockbridge January 13 with an earlier 6 p.m. tip off.
On the other hand, Algoma (7-5) will take on Kewaunee January 13 in a big Packerland conference matchup as both hold 5-0 records in games against conference foes this season.
