The Algoma girls basketball will make the trip on State Highway 54 to face its Kewaunee County rivals in the back end of a doubleheader against Luxemburg-Casco.
The Wolves are 5-3 on the season and winners of their last three games. Jadyn Nellis (12.2 ppg) is the Wolves' leading scorer, but Sadie Rikkola has made a seamless transition to her new team's offense with a scoring average of 10.8 ppg. Lauren Loucks has provided strength in the Wolves' rebounding with 6.2 rpg while Claire Gerdmann is in the team's top three in scoring (5.8 ppg), rebounding
The Spartans are 4-4 on the season after recovering from an 0-3 start by winning four of their last five. In their last game, Sienna Blohowiak scored nine points and Karsyn Walczyk added six points in a 48-30 loss to Denmark. Kept under wraps in the contest was Brianna Bray, who was held to one point after entering the game averaging just under 10 points.
The Spartans and Wolves is set for 7:15 p.m. or 15 minutes after the Algoma/Luxemburg-Casco boys basketball game ends.
