The Algoma girls basketball team remain undefeated in Packerland Conference play after beating Sturgeon Bay 55-25 on the road Thursday night.
Balanced scoring helped the Wolves spread the Clippers thin defensively with Jadyn Nellis and Therese Gerdmann each scoring 10 points, Claire Gerdmann and Reagan Schneider each adding eight points and Ella Severinsen chipping in seven points. Five three-pointers in the first-half also sparked the Wolves to take an early lead, paving the way for 10 different players to score at least one point.
The Clippers battled hard against their southern neighbors behind six points from Reen Walker, five points from Makenna Coyhis, and four points apiece from Cora Frangipane and Regan Kasten.
The Wolves are back in action on Monday when they play the second game of a doubleheader with Luxemburg-Casco while the Clippers will wait until January 5th to face Gibraltar.
