Sevastopol was without three starters against Algoma and found themselves on the losing end, 81–45, in a big matchup Friday night.
The Wolves were powered by two 20-point performances from Braeden Leist (20 points, 9 FGs, 2–3 FT) and Parker Lischka (24 points, 8 FGs, 2–4 FT). For the Pioneers, Schuh (10) and Wiesner (12) led the scoring with double-digit nights.
Algoma led 37–26 at the break and grew their lead off quick buckets in the second half, expanding to the 81–45 victory.
Both teams will get a week-long break before playing again on the road Dec. 18. Sevastopol hopes to get its starters back as they take on Gibraltar, while Algoma will be at Southern Door. Tipoff for both games is set for 7 p.m.
