Algoma’s season came to a close Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 loss to Lourdes/Valley Christian (Oshkosh) in WIAA playoff action.

After a scoreless first half, Lourdes/Valley Christian broke through with two goals in the second to take control, sparked by penalty kick following a handball in the box by the  Wolves.

Despite strong defensive play and several offensive pushes from Algoma, they couldn’t find the back of the net.

The Wolves wrap up their season after a solid postseason effort and a strong finish to the fall campaign.
