Wolves football back in action against Suring

The Algoma football team is playing their last game of the regular season at home against Suring.

The Wolves are coming off a 74-12 victory over Gillett. The Wolves piled up 474 yards of total offense on the evening, more than 400 of which came on the ground. Lane Cochart's three completions all went for touchdowns as he found Joey Cabino, Parker Lischka, and Aiden Moen for scores. Led by Jack Meverden's 123 yards on six carries, two other players registered more than 80 yards on the ground, and six different players had at least 30 yards rushing despite no player having more than six carries.

In the Eagles’ last game, they beat Gibraltar 38-12. After giving up an early score, the Eagles responded on the very next drive when Grant Thomson scored the first of his two touchdowns and punched in the two-point conversion. Taylor Booth-Stoffregen and Kroix Kempka scored 85-yard and 29-yard rushing touchdowns, respectively, to put the Eagles up 24-12 as the team never looked back in their homecoming victory.

The kick-off is at 7:00 pm.
