The Algoma Wolves scored early and often in their 74-12 win over Gillett Friday night that ended with 8:59 left in the fourth quarter.
The Wolves piled up 474 yards of total offense on the evening, more than 400 of which came on the ground. Lane Cochart's three completions all went for touchdowns as he found Joey Cabino, Parker Lischka, and Aiden Moen for scores. Led by Jack Meverden's 123 yards on six carries, two other players registered more than 80 yards on the ground, and six different players had at least 30 yards rushing despite no players having more than six carries.
The Wolves' season ends on Friday when they welcome 5-2 Suring to Perry Field for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
