Algoma looks to keep roll going at Gillett

The Algoma Wolves look to carry the momentum from their nail-biting win over Sevastopol to the other side of the bay on Friday when they play Gillett.

The Wolves rallied in the second half with a pair of scores and late in the fourth quarter, with two minutes remaining, went up 30-22 to win the game. Parker Liscka was the offensive force of the game, completing 7/8 passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 153 yards and a score.

The Tigers gave Gibraltar a run for their money early in their 52-14 loss last week. Brandon Slatky provided the fireworks with a 75-yard touchdown run to give the Tigers a short-lived lead en route to a 99-yard rushing day.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
