The Algoma track team will be well-represented at Friday's WIAA Sectional Meet hosted by Marathon.
The Algoma boys track team was the top-performing team at Tuesday's Hilbert Regional ahead of this weekend's WIAA Sectional Meet. The Wolves boys scored 82 points to finish in third place.
The sectional at Marathon High School features Valley Christian, Suring, Valders, Edgar, Pittsville, Stratford, Bowler, Assumption, Auburndale, Bonduel, Coleman, Crivitz, Florence, Gibraltar, Gillett, Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran, Gresham, Hilbert, Manawa, Mishicot, Necedah, Nekoosa, Northwoods, Northland Lutheran, Oneida Nation, Lourdes Academy, Pacelli, Port Edwards, Roncalli, Rosholt, St. Mary Catholic, Sevastopol, Shiocton, Tigerton, Laona-Wabeno, Wild Rose, Oconto, Crandon, Tri-County, Marion, Newman Catholic, Almond-Bancroft, Weyauwega-Fremont, Iola-Scandinavia, Reedsville, Lena/STAA, Three Lakes/Phelps, and Wolf River Lutheran.
