Two homers by Algoma helped them reach Thursday's Regional Final after beating St. Mary Catholic 5-1 on Tuesday.

The Wolves were down 1-0 in the third inning when Macie Zimmerman helped her own cause with a grand slam. Natalie Ray capped off the scoring with a solo shot in the fifth inning.

Ray led the Wolves with two hits while Brooke Mattson, Sierra Slaby, Zimmerman, and Madison Schneider, and Ryley Tweedy all had one. Zimmerman allowed one run (1 ER) on five hits while striking out eight to earn the complete game win.
