Wolves baseball hold onto win vs. Blue Devils

Both teams did their damage in the first inning, which was good news for Algoma as they beat Oconto on Tuesday evening

The Wolves cashed in on two Blue Devils' errors in the first inning. Braeden Leist's ground ball was booted to bring home the first run before Charlie Prokash's groundout drove in the second tally. Devon Bostwick drove in the Blue Devils' lone run in the bottom half of the first inning on a RBI single. Bostwick held down the Wolves, allowing two runs (0 ER) on four hits in six innings of work only to be outdone by Prokash, who struck out eight across seven innings, allowing one run (1 ER) on three hits. Chase Romdenne, Carson Leist, Jacob Massey, and Dylan Seiler tallied hits for the Wolves in the win. They return to action on Thursday when they welcome NEW Lutheran.
