Four runs in the first and fourth innings led the Algoma baseball team to ending their game against Crivitz early, beating them 10-0 in six innings on Thursday.
RBI singles from Charlie Prokash, Jacob Massey, and Jonah Dahms led to the first four-run inning for the Wolves. Things would stay that way until the fourth inning when the Wolves pieced together another four-run inning, highlighted by a second RBI single by Prokash. The game's fate was decided the very next inning when Massey doubled in Carson Leist and Dylan Seiler to reach the 10-run mercy rule threshold.
Massey ended his day with two hits with five RBI while Prokash, Dahms, and Leist all posted multi-hit games. Leist went the distance for the Wolves, allowing one hit while striking out nine.
