Wolves devour Pioneers as Lischka hits milestone

The Algoma Wolves beat the Sevastopol Pioneers 73-44 Tuesday night at home as Parker Lischka surpassed the 1,000-point mark in his career.

 

Lischka dropped in 35 points, 22 of which came in the first half, and topped the milestone of 1,000 with about 10 minutes to go in the game.

 

Algoma jumped out to a 38-25 lead at halftime and never looked back on defeating the Pioneers for the second time in a week at the Packerland Conference.

 

Braeden Leist added 19 more points for the Wolves  as Algoma improves to 8-2 in the conference behind only undefeated Southern Door.

 

Andrew Wiesner led the Pioneers with 14 points, scoring 11 of those in the first half.

 

Algoma (14-4) will now  travel to Southern Door to take on the Eagles in a showdown on Saturday afternoon.
