The Algoma boys basketball team got over 20 points from both Braeden Leist and Parker Lischka in its 68-50 win over Oconto on Thursday night.
Lischka was balanced in his approach as he scored 10-plus points in both halves to register 23 points on the night. The Wolves were able to come out of the locker room at halftime with a 34-27 advantage, which was when Leist took over. He scored 15 of his 22 points in the second half, which helped the Wolves keep pace with the Blue Devils' Carter Koch discovering his groove in the second half. Carson Leist scored nine points and Chase Romdenne added eight points in the win for the Wolves. The Blue Devils were led by Koch's 16 points, while Cooper Campshure was good for 13 points.
