Wolves boys throttle Vikings, face Blazers Tuesday

The Algoma Wolves boys basketball team outscored Valders 40-22 in the second half to secure the 69-49 win Monday night. 

 

The Wolves's Parker Lischka scored 11 of his team-high 26 points in the first half to help stake the Wolves to a slim two-point lead at the break. Five different players scored six points or more in the second half to start the rout. In addition to Lischka's 26 points, Chase Romdenne posted 12 points, Braeden Leist added 11 points, and both Charlie Prokash and Cody Kirchman chipped in 10 points. Will Sieracki scored 19 points and two others registered 11 points in the Vikings' loss.

 

The Wolves are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Green Bay to face NEW Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. The Blazers are trying to snap a four-game losing streak and earn their first victory since January 10th.
