Algoma boys blast Gibraltar

The Algoma boys basketball shot it well from distance and clamped down defensively on Gibraltar to win the game 71-43.

The Wolves outscored the Vikings 37-20 in the first half to set the tone for the rest of the game. They hit five of their 12 three-pointers in the first half to give themselves some space from the Vikings. Carson Leist led the way with 18 points while Braden Leist added 14 points, Parker Lischka scored 13 points, and Chase Romdenne chipped in 10 points in the Wolves' win. Kayin Jackson used his penetrating style of play to pile up plenty of free throw attempts in the second half en route to a 23 point afternoon. Liam Lindenberg added 12 points in part to two of the Vikings' six threes.
