The Algoma boys basketball team continued their hot start in the Packerland Conference with a 60-48 win over Peshtigo on Friday night.
A 33-20 lead at the break gave the Wolves enough breathing room to cruise through the second half. A big reason why was Cody Kirchman, who scored 12 points in the first half, finishing the night by matching Parker Lischka's 16 points. Chase Romdenne's shooting behind the arc and at the free throw line led to a 11 point performance while two others scored at least six points in the win. The Bulldogs' Dominik Baxter scored a game-high 24 points, including 15 in the second half. Asher Reiswitz scored six points while Elliot Proft chipped in five points.
