Algoma could not secure the road win in Two Rivers, falling to the Raiders 73-62 in boys basketball play Monday night.
The Wolves were outscored 39-32 in the first half and were unable to close the gap in the end. Carson Kadow proved to be a thorn in the side of the Wolves, scoring 22 points to lead the Raiders. Christian Pyles (15 points) and Eli Gallagher (13 points) also reached double figures.
Parker Lischka and Braeden Leist helped the Wolves keep close, scoring 18 and 15 points respectively in the loss. Leist hit three of the nine three-pointers made by the Wolves.
The Wolves are back in action Tuesday night when they welcome Chilton to the fieldhouse for a 6:30 p.m. tip.
