The Algoma cross country teams were small but mighty at Tuesday's Sheboygan Area Lutheran Crusade Challenge.
Neither the boys or the girls had enough runners to compete as a team. For the boys, Alex Kirchman was the lone competitor but broke 19:30 on the 5K course to finish in 33rd. Sierra Slaby found herself in the top 10 with a eighth place finish and a time of 21:30.
