The Algoma Wolves suffered a complete letdown on defense Tuesday, as nine errors led to six unearned runs in a 10-5 home loss to the Mishicot Indians.
Starting Wolves pitcher Parker Lischka took the brunt of the poor defense, as only three of his seven runs allowed were earned in his two innings of work. Lischka did hit a long homer, his third of the season.
Charlie Prokash went 1-3 with two RBIs, and Grant Vendervest had two hits for the Wolves, but it was not enough.
Algoma travels to Marinette on Thursday in another non-conference matchup.
