The Algoma boys basketball team staged a comeback in the second half, but the damage was done in its 60-51 loss to Oneida Nation on Thursday.

The Wolves outscored the Thunderhawks 34-30 after halftime, but that only partially ate into the 13-point deficit they found themselves in entering the second half. Ethan Danforth and Evander Danforth-Alavez proved too much for the Wolves to overcome, scoring 17 and 14 points in the Thunderhawks' victory. Parker Lischka did his part to counter the Danforths, scoring 27 points in the loss. Chase Romdenne contributed 10 points.
