The Algoma Wolves' girls' basketball team fended off a tough challenge from the Oconto Blue Devils to win 38-33

Points were tough to come by in the first half as they took a 16-12 lead into the locker room, aided by a pair of threes by Jadyn Nellis. The scoring started to open up more in the second half, but the Wolves were still able to outscore their visitors by a single point. 

Nellis and Sierra Slaby led the Wolves in scoring with 11 points, with Brooke Mattson adding eight points. The Blue Devils were led by Addi Viestenz's 11 points with three other players chipping in six points in the loss.
