Wolves fall to Brillion girls 53-36

The Algoma Wolves took a break from the girls Packerland Conference basketball schedule to play the Brillion Lions in a tough non-conference matchup at home.  The Lions jumped to a 28-8 lead in the first half, but the Wolves would outscore Brillion 28-25 to make a run in the second half.

Brillion was led in scoring by Camden Hale with 15 points and Maya Brooks, who scored 11 of her 12 points in the decisive first half.  Emma Schuh also had 12 points for Brillion. 

Rylee Zimmerman led the way for Algoma with 12 points, while Brooke Mattson added 10 points. 

The Wolves will now play NEW Lutheran on Friday in Green Bay on Friday with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
