Slaby's quick start leads Wolves girls to victory

Sierra Slaby scored 13 of her team-high 14 points in the first half to pace the Algoma girls' basketball team to a 48-34 win over Two Rivers on Friday.

 

The Wolves outscored the visiting Raiders by 13 points in the first half, a lead they would maintain throughout the second half. Rylee Zimmerman added 13 points in the victory with Jaydn Nellis chipping in seven points and Brooke Mattson contributing six points.

 

Kaylee Jensen scored 17 points to lead the Raiders in their loss while Kaitlyn Klein added two three-pointers in the second half to chip in six points.
