Fast start helps Wolves girls bite Huskies

The Algoma Wolves' girls' basketball team used ten first-half three-pointers to sink New Holstein 55-34.

 

The assault from behind the arc was led by Jaydn Nellis, who hit five shots from distance in the first half en route to a 15-point night. Sierra Slaby hit three in the opening frame as she scored 13 points in the first half that saw the Wolves outscore the visiting Huskies 37-15. Ryley Zimmerman led all scorers with 18 points as she hit for shots from behind the arc, including three in the second half. Payton Grenzer's 15 points led the Huskies in the loss.
