Wolves girls bounce back vs. Southern Door

After playing their worst game offensively earlier this week, the Algoma Wolves girls' basketball used the Southern Door Eagles as a launching point in a 56-41 victory.

 

Ryley Zimmerman set the tone early for the Wolves, scoring 16 of her game-high 20 points in the first half to help give her team a 46-20 advantage at halftime. The Eagles adjusted in the second half, allowing just 10 points after the break.

 

Brooke Mattson scored 12 points, and Sierra Slaby chipped in 10 points in the victory for the Wolves. Isabella Price led the Eagles with 16 points, 10 of which came after halftime. Payton Gilbertson added 13 points in the loss for the Eagles.
