The Algoma boys' basketball team will go from one Packerland dog house to another Friday night when they travel to Peshtigo to take on the Bulldogs.

The Wolves boys lost a nail-biter in overtime to the Oconto Blue Devils at home Tuesday night, 51-48. The Wolves held a 20-16 at halftime but were outscored 30-26 in the second half by the Blue Devils to force overtime. Parker Lischka led Algoma with 16 points, and Braeden Leist added 13 more for the Wolves, but it was not enough against Oconto.

Will McMahon scored 12 points, and transfer Dominik Baxter added 10 points, but it wasn't enough as the Bulldogs lost to Sturgeon Bay 71-48. The loss dropped the Bulldogs to 3-2 on the year
