Algoma boys face Oconto

The Algoma boys' basketball team looks to get another win under their belt Tuesday night when they welcome Oconto to the Fulwiler Fieldhouse.

In their last game, the Wolves won in Green Bay, topping NEW Lutheran 54-45. Trailing 23-22 at the break, the Wolves outscored the Blazers by 10 points to secure their first Packerland Conference win. Parker Lischka led the Wolves with 18 points. Grant Vandervest and Chase Romdenne chipped in a combined 22 points, canceling out the Blazers' top scorer, Sam Hillman, who had 19 points in the loss.

The Blue Devils won their last game 97-67 in their Packerland Conference boys' basketball season opener against Sturgeon Bay. The Blue Devils erupted for 51 points in the first half, setting the stage for potentially crossing the century mark later in the game. Carter Koch scored 21 points of his game-high 40 points in the opening period to set the pace for the game that left the Clippers chasing a lead for much of the night.
