The Algoma boys basketball team left Green Bay with a victory Thursday night, topping NEW Lutheran 54-45.

Trailing 23-22 at the break, the Wolves outscored the Blazers by 10 points to secure their first Packerland Conference win of the season. Parker Lischka led the Wolves with 18 points. Grant Vandervest and Chase Romdenne chipped in a combined 22 points, canceling out the Blazers' top scorer Sam Hillman, who had 19 points in the loss. Griffin Steffel was the only other Blazers player to score more than five points, adding nine points to the Blazers' effort.
