Wolves stay perfect with sweep of Pioneers in volleyball

The Algoma Wolves volleyball team kept rolling Tuesday with a hard-fought sweep of the Sevastopol Pioneers at home.  Taking the three-game sets with scores of

25-21, 25-18, and 25-20, the Wolves stay a perfect 7-0 in the Packerland Conference.

 

Leading the way for Algoma was Ryley Zimmerman with 11 kills and 18 digs, while

MyLee Jones had nine kills and 16 digs.  Also making big contributions was

Chloe Robertson with five kills, four digs, and one serving ace.

 

Hannah Nell chipped in 29 assists and  six aces as well, with

Olivia Cabino scoring ten digs, 12 receptions, and two aces. 

 

Algoma can clinch the conference championship with a win on Thursday at Peshtigo.
