Algoma volleyball looks to sweep Green Bay matches at NEW Lutheran

Titletown has been Wins-ville for Algoma in the first full month of the volleyball season ahead of their match at NEW Lutheran.

After sweeping Green Bay West earlier in the season, the Wolves took three of four sets from Green Bay East on Tuesday. After losing the first set 21-25, the Wolves responded with convincing wins of 25-5, 25-19, and 25-13 to win the match. MyLee Jones had 13 kills, six aces, 15 digs, and 11 receptions to lead the Wolves.  Ryley Zimmerman scored eight kills, 11 aces, 13 digs and 14 receptions.  Hannah Nell had a strong floor game with two kills and 27 assists.  Olivia Cabino chipped in three aces, seven digs, and seven receptions and Chloe Robinson had ten digs, three aces, and one kill to round out the scoring for Algoma.

The Blazers may be a tougher team to slay than their fellow Green Bay counterparts. They swept Gibraltar 3-0 last Thursday before splitting their four matches at the Ashwaubenon Invite.
