After the Wolves plated two runs in the first inning, their visitors scored single tallies in the second, third, and fifth inning to take an uncomfortable 3-2 advantage. After a two-run single by Aiden Jorns gave the Wolves the lead, they tacked on more thanks to doubles by the Lischka brothers, a walk by Jordan Fenendael, and a run-scoring error on a ball hit by Javen Charles. Braden Leist and Charles limited Elkhart Lake's offense to just three earned runs while striking out eight.
