After their scheduled game with Coleman was canceled, the Algoma Wolves softball team will take on one of the top teams in the state Friday afternoon as they take on the Mishicot Indians. 

The results of their most recent series last Saturday was a mixed bag for the Wolves as they lost the first game against the Southern Door Eagles by a score of 19-4. Coming back for game two however, the Wolves were able to get some good offense and slow down the Eagles enough to squeak out a 9-8 victory to salvage the series with the Eagles. Algoma will need all of that success in game two and more when they face off against the Mishicot Indians on Friday afternoon. 

Mishicot will enter the game with Algoma with a 4-0 record, and 62 runs scored in those four games played. Their most recent game against St. Mary's Catholic, who sits atop the Big East Conference, was a final score of 21-6, as Mishicot scored 16 runs in the second inning. 

First pitch from Algoma is set for 4:30 p.m.
