A six-run first inning was all the Algoma Wolves softball team needed in a 14-0 win over Sheboygan Area Lutheran Thursday evening.

The Wolves outhit their opponents 18-2 in the five-inning game that saw them bat around in the first frame and almost accomplish the feat again in the second. 

Hannah Nell was the star for the Wolves on both sides of the ball, going the distance on the mound to allow the two hits but striking out nine.  She also went 3-4 with two RBI. Teagan Luedke (3-4, 2R, 3RBI), Amelia Robinson (2-4, 2R, 2RBI), Nora Krause (2-4, 4R, 2RBI),  and Sierra Slaby (2-4, 1R) all had multi-hit games for the Wolves.
