The Algoma boys basketball team had no answers for Kaine Fort in a 54-46 loss to the Peshtigo Bulldogs.

Carson Lischka did what he could to keep it close as he hit three of the Wolves' five three-pointers to score nine points in the game. Kaden Vardon led the way with 14 points as three others scored at least seven points in the game.

In the end, however, it was all about Fort's second-half performance. He scored 14 of his game-high 25 points in the second half to build on a three-point halftime lead. Mason Doberstein added 11 points and Grant Bauman added 10 points in the victory for the Bulldogs.
