Wolves boys welcome in county rival Storm

The Algoma Wolves will host their inner-county rival Kewaunee Storm in boys basketball action Tuesday night.

Algoma wasn’t able to hold onto their lead at halftime against the Gibraltar Vikings, as they fell 58-53. The Wolves' Kaden Vardon took the reins of the game offensively. He scored 11 of his team-high 16 points in the first half. In the last matchup versus the Storm, it was a 59-38 Kewaunee win for the first Packerland game of the season.

Kewaunee bounced back well after their close loss to the Eagles of Southern Door, as they defeated the Sturgeon Bay Clippers 74-49. At 9-4 overall, and 6-1 in the Packerland conference the Storm are in a good position halfway through the Packerland Conference season. The Storm will look to continue their success against the Wolves.

The tip from Algoma is set for 7:30 P.M.
