The Algoma girls basketball team will kick off their week with a home game against NEW Lutheran.
In their last game, The Wolves could not get their offense rolling as they lost to the Bonduel Bears 61-17 on the road. They were outscored 37-8 in the first period, with Emily Kirchman scoring all eight points. She would finish with a team-high 12 points, making five of the Wolves' six shots from the field. Teagan Luedke made the only other shot from the field and Halle Panger made three of her four free throws.
The Blazers have lost four of their last five games, including their last game by the score of 64-44 to Southern Door. Ebony Sinclair scored 16 points and Ingrid Beaumont added 14 points in the loss.
Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
