The Algoma Wolves were able to sneak away with a 36-31 defensive battle on Saturday afternoon against the Gibraltar Vikings. 

Algoma would be trailing at the half, as the Vikings lead 18-14 at the halfway point. Algoma did not get their first lead of the second half until the four minute mark. The Wolves would not give the lead up after that point, on their way to their 5 point lead. The win puts Algoma at 9-6 overall this season and 5-3 in Packerland play. 

For Gibraltar, they take another close loss, this time leading the majority of the game. Their overall record falls to 2-10 and in the Packerland they are 1-6. The Vikings will hit the road on Monday when they take on the Gillett Tigers.
