Algoma girls knock down Gresham with distance

The Algoma Wolves' girls basketball team used the three-point shot to bury the Gresham Wildcats in a 54-32 victory Thursday night.

 

Teagen Luedke made three 3-pointers en route to a team-high 13 points. Halle Panger knocked two of her own on her seven-point night while Ryley Zimmerman (9 pts), Brooke Mattson (5 pts), and Amelia Robinson (5 pts) hit their own shots from behind the arc.

 

The Wildcats had their own success behind the arc despite the loss. Maddie Haffner knocked down four three-pointers en route to a game-high 17 points. No one else on the Wildcats scored more than five points in the loss.
