The Algoma Wolves were able to split their results of the Elkhart Lake tournament Friday, as they defeated the Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers 58-40. 

The Wolves got out to the early lead in the game, leading 7-0 within the first 3 minutes of play. The scoring would not slow down for the Wolves as they plowed their way over the Hilltoppers with some solid outside shooting and spreading the scoring around. Algoma would continue their lead into half with a score of 28-20. 

The second half is when the Wolves truly began to pull away from the Hilltoppers, leading by as much as 23 with a 58-35 lead with 3:23 to play. Cambria-Friesland tried to climb back into it, but there was not enough time as they shut out the Wolves for the rest of the game, but could not register enough offense. 

Algoma will next take the court against Peshtigo on January 5th.
