The Algoma girls basketball team came back from Green Bay with an important Packerland Conference victory on Friday, beating NEW Lutheran 40-24.

The Wolves led at the break 21-15 thanks to seven points by Ryley Zimmerman and a pair of threes from Sierra Slaby. The pair would combine to score 20 points on the evening. Ebony Sinclair led the Blazers with nine points despite making only one shot from the field in the loss. Lexie Meerstein added seven for the Blazers.
