Algoma girls visit NEW Lutheran

The Algoma Wolves girls' basketball team will try to break their season-opening trend Friday night when they visit NEW Lutheran in Green Bay to face the Blazers.

 

The Wolves have followed their losses with wins this season, starting the year off with a 2-2 record. They beat Kewaunee earlier this week 46-39 after entering halftime with an 11-point lead. Ryley Zimmermann continues to play like she did last year, leading the Wolves with 12 points in the contest.

 

The Blazers have not played since November 21st, beating Crivitz for their first win of the year 52-38. Ebony Sinclair's 11.7 points per game leads the 1-2 Blazers in scoring, while Lexie Meerstein paces the teams in rebounds (7 RPG) and assists (2 APG).
