Algoma High School

Wolves boys kick off season at home

The Algoma Wolves will get to open their season on their home court, as they will play host to Northeast Wisconsin Christian Home School.

Algoma finished the season 7-16 overall and 3-13 in the Packerland conference. The Wolves will be without the Packerland Conference leading scorer from last season Carter Zimmerman, who graduated last season. The scoring will have to fall on the young guards of the Wolves, as Kaden Vardon and Owen Robertson are expected to fill the shoes of Zimmerman this season.

Northeast Wisconsin Christian Home School ended their season 2-5 last season. One of those losses came against Algoma, as the Wolves won 64-48. In that game, the team was led by Jacob McDonald with 11 points.

The tip is set for 7:30 P.M. in Algoma.
