The Wolves of Algoma will pay a visit to the Ashwaubenon Tigers in their season opener of their Girls Basketball season Tuesday night. 

Algoma could find themselves having another strong season, potentially finding themselves towards the top of the Packerland conference after a 9-7 performance in conference play last season lead to an overall record of 11-14 overall. A good start against Ashwaubenon could instill some confidence in the team in non-conference play, and end up starting the season off the right way. 

Ashwaubenon found themselves around .500 basketball last season, with their overall record being finalized at 13-12. Although the Tigers only lost two seniors from last seasons roster, those two seniors found themselves in the top three of the scoring averages from last season. Ashwaubenon will look from some more production from their underclassmen against the Wolves Tuesday night.
