The Algoma soccer team will take their home pitch on Thursday with a match against Packerland-leading Gibraltar/Sevastopol.

The Wolves are 8-2-1 on the season, but only 2-2-1 in the Packerland Conference. They haven't lost since an opening season 1-0 loss to the Vikineers and a 3-0 defeat to Sturgeon Bay. The Wolves have won four straight with clean sheets posted against Kewaunee and Little Chute.

The Vikineers are the opposite of the Wolves, posting a 4-6-1 record, but they are 4-0-1 in Packerland Conference games. They went 0-2 in the Wrightstown Tournament but followed their 1-0 loss to NEW Lutheran by tying them a few days later on Tuesday 0-0.
