Wolves boys roll Gresham

The Algoma Wolves' boys basketball team outscored Gresham by 20 points in the first half to cruise to a 73-51 victory.

Powered by their three-point shooting four different Wolves' players reached double-figures in the game, led by Carter Zimmerman's 22 points. Kaden Vardon added 18 points, Owen Robertson registered 12 points and Carson Lischka chipped in 11 points as the trio combined for seven three-pointers.

Belasaire Vele was the only Gresham player in double figures as he knocked down three three-pointers en route to a game-high 23 points.

The Wolves will play on Thursday against Gibraltar on 105.1 The GOAT. In addition to it being senior night, Zimmerman will be honored among the other great Algoma players after being crowned the school's all-time scorer earlier this season.
