The Algoma girls’ basketball team hosted the Sturgeon Bay Lady Clippers on Friday night in a Packerland Conference contest. 

The Wolves had a very impressive first half defensively, holding Sturgeon Bay to just 2 points scored in the entire half, while working their way to a 24-2 halftime lead. From there Algoma wouldn’t look back and end up earning the 58-20 victory. 

Halle Panger led the Wolves with 11 points, while Emily Kirchman added 8. The Lady Clippers were led by Jocelyn Olson and Sierra Arneman who each scored 6 points in the loss. 

The Wolves will be off for 6 days and return to action next Thursday to take on Gibraltar in their final regular-season contest.
