Wolves look to avoid fifth straight loss

The Algoma boys’ basketball team will look to avoid losing their fifth straight game as they travel to take on Sevastopol on Thursday night. 

 

Algoma has lost four straight games with their latest loss coming to Peshtigo by a score of 42-66. The Wolves will look to use a road win against the Pioneers as momentum going into their final part of the regular season schedule. The Wolves are led by Carter Zimmerman who is averaging 22 points per game, and Kaden Vardon who is averaging 10 points per game. 

 

The Pioneers are looking to end their extensive losing streak after losing their last fourteen consecutive games. Their latest loss came against Sturgeon Bay by a score of 91-59. Sevastopol will attempt to get back in the win column at home before taking on the rest of their conference opponents to end the season.
