The Algoma girls’ basketball team traveled to Southern Door on Tuesday night to take on the Eagles in conference play.
The Wolves struggled a bit in the first half only putting up 13 points, while holding Southern Door to 18 to trail by 5 heading into the halftime break. The Wolves would outscore the Eagles by 8 in the second half to escape with a 3 point road victory by a score of 44-41.
Halle Panger led the Wolves with 18 points, while Sierra Slaby added 10. Kendra Shimon led the Eagles with 21. Algoma will return home on Friday to face Sturgeon Bay.
